PERSONAL EVALUATION
At Palm Beach Prosthodontics, your health and comfort are paramount to us. If you have a painful or problematic condition that requires emergency treatment, we will focus on that during your initial visit and make every effort to alleviate your distress as quickly as possible. We will then arrange a follow-up appointment for a thorough dental examination that will allow us to fully evaluate the state of your oral health.
We begin by reviewing your medical and dental history and invite you to tell us about your dental experiences, expectations, and chief concerns. We then perform a detailed exam, which might include taking X-rays if none are available from your previous dentist.

Additionally, we may take photos of your mouth and smile, make dentals molds, or consult with other providers—perhaps a dentist who previously treated you or a specialist in another branch of dentistry who might become involved in your care. If you have advanced dental disease or other complicating factors, several visits may be necessary for us to complete these steps and provide you with a diagnosis and treatment plan.
After your evaluation, we will review our findings with you, answer your questions, and present your options for treatment, describing the benefits and risks of each.
THE OUTCOME
Once you have chosen a treatment option, we will outline the treatment sequence, including length of treatment, approximate number of appointments, any transitional treatment, cost, and payment procedure. Our front desk staff then will coordinate your appointments and provide any related assistance you require. We strive to serve you courteously and efficiently at every visit.
